Event Types
When you fill out the Event Submission & Space Request Form for Church Events 📅, you’ll select one of two categories:
1. Church Events (Community Events)
- For the church community (may or may not require registration).
- Automatically publicized on:
- Church website calendar
- Weekly newsletter (The Unitarian)
- Order of Service insert (as space permits)
- Limited series and one-time events will also be shared on social media (Facebook & Instagram).
2. Group Meetings (Internal Use)
- For church business and functions — not open to the wider congregation.
- Examples: committee meetings, music rehearsals, staff gatherings.
- Not publicized on the website, social media, or newsletter.
- Appear only on the internal planning calendar in Notion and the calendar on the Space Use / Rental page (not the main church calendar).
What the Form Does
The Space Use Request Form serves two purposes:
- Requests a room (reserving physical space at the church).
- Submits publicity info (if it’s a Church Event).
✨ You only need to fill out the form once. After submission, updates or changes happen in Notion (no need to re-submit a form).
